It’s been 12 years that the EU has ratified the UN Convention against Corruption and thereby obliged itself to carry out a regular self-assessment of its anti-corruption policies. The Anti-corruption Intergroup, consisting of 129 Members of the European Parliament from five different groups, has today sent a letter to Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, asking her to finally bring the EU in compliance with its obligations and provide the Members with a timeframe for this process.
